This species is very limited in distribution with several specimens collected all from the one location. The scape is 50 - 100 cm long, erect and carrying 9 - 21 3.5 cm flowers.

Culture

I do not grow this species.

Habitat

In rough damp grassland with Imperata cylindrica. Themeda villosa and Gleichenia sp. ferns.

Sumatra 1700- 2700m
